Braddock Eagles have been learning how to search for information on the FCPS Databases. Students in the 4th grade are learning about Virginia and United States history in Social Studies. Students will choose a famous Virginian to research using both electronic and print resources. They will then present their research in a Bio-Cube.

Keywords
- What is a keyword? A keyword is necessary to effectively search a database or website.
- While using an online database or search engine, use keywords or phrases to find the information you need. Keywords are usually nouns.
- Brainstorm - go through your brainstorming ideas and group related or similar ideas together. Look for synonyms.
- Keywords - one keyword is not enough to search for information, try using other words with the same or similar meaning. Make a list of keywords and phrases to help in your search.
