Spring Book Fair: Buy One, Get One FREE!

The Braddock Elementary Spring Book Fair from Scholastic is coming soon to the Braddock Elementary School Library with a Buy One, Get One Free Book Fair!  This special event offers a great opportunity for you to add twice as many books to your child's home and classroom library.  For every item you buy, you get another item for FREE!  It's that simple - you'll leave the Fair with twice as many books!  And it is the perfect way to stock up on great books for the summer. 

The Scholastic Buy One, Get One Free Book Fair will be held from Friday, April 30 through Friday, May 4, 2012 and you don't want to miss it!

There will be a special Family Night on Thursday, May 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.  But please be sure to drop by anytime during the regular Fair hours during the school day.  Check out our Braddock Spring Book Fair Homepage at for dates, times, vounteer opportunities, and information about Read for the World Record.

There will be a Classroom Wishlist Board where Braddock teachers can let families know which books would benefit their classroom libraries.  Each book donation comes with a book donation sticker where your child can record his or her name.

Be a Hero - READ!

It's a bird!  It's a plane!  It's the Braddock Elementary Scholastic Book Fair!  Every reader is a Super Reading Hero at the Here's to Our Heroes!  Reading Saves the Day! Scholastic Book Fair.   The Braddock Elementary Fall Book Fair arrives in our library on Friday, December 3, 2010 but don't delay for the Fair must soar away on Friday, December 10th.  

Our Book Fair is jam-packed with stories sure to thrill every reader and, as every Super Hero knows, reading is where the action is!  We will celebrate books and reading with a Family Night on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 6-8 p.m.  You will want to be sure to check out our great  Book Fair Homepage -  it includes Book Fair hours, volunteer registration, and samples of featured books, along with these fun book-related activites:  special author video clips and downloadable student activities.
