The online library catalog allows you to search for materials owned by Braddock ES library and all FCPS libraries.

Searching iBistro:
The default search option is Quick Search
- Type in the word or words you wish to search.
- Click on a search option, such as Everything, Subject, Title, Author.
Search Tips:
- Title: Enter as much of the title as you know ie. Harry Potter and the
- Subject: Enter in a specific search term or keyword ie. tigers
- Author: Enter the author's full name or as much as you know ie. J.K. Rowling, J.K., or Rowling
- Everything: Enter a keyword and the catalog will search all the search options (subject, title, and author.)
Finding the Book in the Library:
Three pieces of information are needed from the library catalog to find the book in the library.
- Call Number: Tells you where in the library the book is shelved.
- Location: Tells you in which section the book is located ie. Fiction, Nonfiction, I Can Read
- Status: Tells you if the book is available/not checked out or checked out/unavailable.

Power Search
- A Power Search is a kind of keyword search which allows the user to combine different types of searches, such as author, series, subject, and title.
- The search can be limited by type (Book, Video, Reference, AV or Periodical) or by location (Fiction, Biography, I Can Read, etc.)
- Be sure to select Braddock ES in the Library field.
